Connected Community Schools to host free Herkimer County Carnival for Families
The Connected Herkimer County Teams, representing Central Valley, Dolgeville, Herkimer and Mount Markham, are inviting families from across Herkimer County to join them for an evening of fun, connection and community at the Connected Herkimer County Carnival on Thursday, July 30 at ARC Park in Herkimer.
The free community event will feature carnival-style games, interactive activities, community partner exhibits, giveaways and opportunities for families to connect with local organizations and resources that support children and families throughout Herkimer County.
The Connected Herkimer County Carnival is more than just a summer celebration – it is an opportunity to strengthen community connections and introduce families to the programs, services and organizations that are available to help them thrive. By bringing community partners together in one location, the event makes it easy for families to explore available resources while enjoying a fun and welcoming atmosphere.
“The Herkimer County Connected Carnival is a celebration of community, where families discover resources, build relationships and create lasting memories together,” said Katie Rockwell, divisional director of Connected Community Schools.
The carnival is open to everyone and offers activities for children of all ages. Community organizations from across Herkimer County will be on hand to share information about their programs and services, helping families learn about educational, recreational, health and support opportunities available throughout the region.
The Connected Herkimer County Carnival will take place July 30 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at ARC Park, 420 E. German St., Herkimer. Admission is free, and all families are encouraged to attend.
