Adirondack Railroad Beer & Wine Trains preparing for 2026 trips
The Adirondack Railroad Beer & Wine Trains are getting ready to roll in for a new season. In addition to the Utica Beer & Wine Train, two new offerings will be available in 2026: the Old Forge Ales on Rails and the Tupper Lake Taps & Tracks.
The original Utica Beer & Wine Train departs Union Station and travels north to Remsen Depot. It departs Utica at 6:30 p.m., arrives in Remsen by 7:30, then leaves Remsen at 8 p.m. and arrives in Utica at 9.

The Old Forge Ales on Rails departs Thendara Station and travels north to Beaver River. Current dates are June 6 and July 10, with entertainment to be announced.
The Tupper Lake Taps & Tracks travels south from the newly renovated Tupper Lake Depot to Sabattis. Current dates are July 25 and Sept. 19, with entertainment to be announced.
These round-trip, three-hour train tours are a great way to spend a fun evening enjoying live music and a nostalgic train journey.
Passengers receive a complimentary beer or wine glass (glass only – beverage not included) with each regular adult ticket purchase. This event is for passengers who are 21 or older.
The Adirondack Railway Preservation Society Inc. (ARPS) operates the Adirondack Railroad and the Adirondack Scenic Railbike Adventures. The New York corporation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) volunteer-based organization with main offices in Utica. Since 1992, it has provided a memorable experience for more than 1.8 million passengers, operating on the former New York Central Adirondack Division located in upstate New York.
