The sun shines on another Keystone Farm Show

The sun shines on another Keystone Farm Show

A little over a week has passed since the 28th annual Keystone Farm Show wrapped in York, PA, and all involved walked away with smiles, sales – it was a “buying show” for equipment dealers and product vendors alike – leads for the year ahead and excitement for the 2027 show.

The Keystone Farm Show has continued to evolve into a mainstay for the Northeastern ag industry over the course of its almost three decades and this year was no exception. The show boasted almost 450 commercial exhibitors – a “who’s who” of in-demand equipment manufacturers, cutting-edge service providers and favorite product vendors. This year saw the addition of nearly 50 first-time vendors.

The show’s run enjoyed clear skies and sunshine – the perfect ambience for the trade show experience. Farmer-attendees certainly took advantage, with the first two days of the show experiencing record traffic flow.

This year saw an expanded education program: Penn State Cooperative Extension Pesticide Education facilitated their annual seminars for credits and the Center for Dairy Excellence led their annual Biosecurity Planning Workshop. New this year were sessions offered by Sustainable Chesapeake as well as PA Certified Organic.

At Tuesday night’s exhibitor hospitality dinner, vendors were treated to the first speaker lineup in several years as PA Secretary of Agriculture Russell Redding and Dr. Troy Ott, dean of the Penn State College of Agricultural Sciences, keynoted the event. Both expressed thanks for the Keystone Farm Show and its impact on the industry while also spotlighting current agenda items and initiatives for Penn State and PA agriculture at large.

The Keystone Farm Show returns to York Jan. 5 – 7, 2027. For more information, visit keystonefarmshow.com and make sure to follow the show on social media.

First-time exhibitor Dinamica Generale offers precision feeding management software and other solutions for farmers.

The Smaxtec team connects with exhibitors. Smaxtec “empowers dairy farmers to make confident, data-driven decisions leading to healthier cows by providing highly precise and unique data straight from the reticulum – data you can’t get anywhere else.”

Attendees evaluate some of the poultry equipment on display at the show.

The team at first-time exhibitor No Bull chats with attendees about the reproductive services they offer.

A rep with Neptune’s Harvest chats with an attendee. Neptune’s Harvest manufactures a full line of farm and agricultural products; their claim to fame is their “commercially proven organic fertilizer.”

The 2027 Keystone Farm Show will return to York, PA, Jan. 5 -7.

Favorable weather conditions meant the 2026 show saw record foot traffic.

The company offers an extensive selection of veterinary instruments and supplies; they highlighted the BESS line of calf nursing supplies. (left) Better Biosecurity offers “safe, organic and highly effective biosecurity solutions for livestock growers.”
